Thus the load of BS.
This site will help you separate the fact from fiction. We’ll show you that losing tummy fat is a matter of focus and consistency and can actually be quite simple–but not necessarily easy!
We’ll also give you real “losing weight tips” that don’t just help you lose weight, but help you lose the right kind of weight–a.k.a. FAT!
Why Focus on Losing Tummy Fat?
You may wonder why I spend so much time focusing on losing tummy fat. Well, to be honest, it’s what I get asked the most about. It’s also the hardest place for people to lose fat, so if you can lose it there you can generally lose it anywhere.
Also, for the most part, the techniques used to lose tummy fat are no different than the techniques used to lose fat anywhere else in the body. That’s right, we’re not spot reducing!
But really, I just want to appease you. I want you to get that badass six-pack and walk around brimming with confidence. I want you to look forward to walking around the beach in your bathing suit. I want you to feel like a million bucks!
Why is losing tummy fat so difficult?
For most people, the belly area is the area that holds fat the longest. It’s really just the way it is. A lot of people also accumulate extra toxins from the foods they consume that get stored in the belly area. This contributes to the problem.
The body really just likes to store extra fat around the belly. Cruel, I know! But it doesn’t have to stay that way!
You can start losing tummy fat today!
Crunches Really Won’t Help Me With Losing Fat in My Tummy?
Nope. Sorry. Well, it will to an extent. About the same amount as a bicep curl. Not nearly as much as a squat.
You can’t spot reduce, so don’t try. Crunches build up the abdominal muscles and contribute very little to fat loss.
You need a well-rounded approach to lose fat all over your body. This includes a clean, healthy diet and an integrated exercise program. Your exercise program should include total body resistance training, high intensity interval training, core training, and some aerobic training.
The combination of all this leads to fat loss throughout your body, including your belly. Don’t get frustrated if the belly takes a while to turn into a six-pack; it’s the difficulty of the achievement that makes six-packs so sexy!
